The A21 - A40 package has been designed with the many requirements of today's demanding production and manufacturing facilities in mind. As a result, the A-Series compressors are very compact in design to take up the least floor space possible. Given our careful selection of components and materials combined with our highest manufacturing standards, puts the A-Series in a class of it's own with an incomparable level of reliability giving you peace of mind.

How it works:
The compressor is a single stage, coolant injected/lubricated machine, driven by an electric motor.
Ambient air is drawn through the intake filter (1) and the inlet control valve (2) into the screw compressor block (3). This block consists of a pair of screw rotors. The male rotor, driven by an electric motor (8), takes the female rotor with it. The air is drawn in by the rotation of both of the meshing rotors and is continuously compressed.
During rotation, coolant is injected and forms a hydrostatic film between the male and female rotor. The function of the coolant is to seal the rotors against air losses, lubricate the bearings and gears and absorb the compression heat.
After the coolant passes the thermostatic control block (6), before entering the coolant cooler (7), where it is cooled from approx. 85¡ãC down to 50¡ãC. It then passes through the coolant filter (5), and is injected back into the screw compressor block (3).

ECOOL Coolant
Every ECOAIR compressor is factory filled with the advanced ECOOL lubricant.
The coolant is designed for 8,000 hours or two years of service.

• Its incomparable sealing and lubrication characteristics make it ideal for use in flooded screw compressors.
• ECOOL is biodegradable, environmentally friendly, contains no hydrocarbons and can be discharged into the foul sewage system without the need for separation techniques.

• The A21 - A40 are single stage rotary screw compressors. The complete package comes as a base plate mounted machine ready to start. Simply provide electrical connection and air pipework. The entire package is designed for operation in ambient temperature of up to 46¡ãC. This ensures operation even under harsh conditions and will extend service interval time because of an oversized cooling system.
• Advanced ECOAIR power drive with unique patented gas-strut tensioning system provides constant force under all operating conditions. This feature will reduce slippage known from conventional belt systems improving package efficiency.
• Complete single-stage, lubricated air compressor package with electric motor drive system.
• For easy maintenance access, the package incorporates an easy to open panel as part of the enclosure allowing convenient access to all maintenance parts.
• The low noise canopy reduces the noise level of the compressor down to 72 dB(A) which allows installation of the machine almost anywhere in the workshop.
• The entire compressor is designed for the most demanding operating conditions such as 46¡ãC ambient temperature. This ensures a large safety margin in the cooling system for virtually every installation and all climatic environments.
• The cooling air flow through the machine is horizontal and ductwork can be fitted for potential heat recovery.
• The duplex tapered roller bearings in the air end provide an ideal solution to compensate for the extreme thrust loads experienced in "load" and "no load" conditions. This bearing arrangement dramatically increases the life time of the air end.
• The IP55 drive motor has Class F insulation, Class B temperature rise and full load and a 46¡ãC ambient capability. This ensures cool winding temperatures and long motor life. The motor bearings are sealed for life and do not require any maintenance or regeasing.
