AIRMAN screw air compressors PDS series which we had started to produce 1976 were much welcomed and played an epoch-making role in shifting the market from conventional type to rotary screw type. Later we have attained approx. 70% market share in the domestic market of portable air compressors and keep unshakable position in this field by our strenuous research and development activities and strengthening of sales forces and system, foreseeing the increase of construction and civil engineering jobs. Above all, the compressors with aftercoolers PDS-C type which we have developed incorporating usersﾕ needs are now welcomed as a highly value-added machine.
¡ñEngine Compressors Environment-Friendly
We have such factory-use engine-driven stationary air compressor for installation in factory developed with such accumulated technology of portable air compressors (for construction machinery). This compressor is developed for the purpose of reducing power as substitute of motor-driven compressors which consume approx. 20% power of the total power needed in whole factory. The purpose is to reduce the power at the peak and also to reduce it at the base rate; namely peak-cut and base-cut. We have gas-engine-driven models available which have clean emission and use gas as clean energy. These models are also welcomed by customers.

We supply various kinds of models to meet the needs of various industries such as automobile, foodstuff, and printing industry. In addition to AIRMAN unloader system which was invented some time ago to save energy, Auto-start-stop system (patented) (prize of the chairman of Japan Invention Association) and Oilless compressors SAW series (Energy saving equipment prize) have been developed one after another. Oil-less compressor or oil-free compressor delivers clean compressed air which contains no oil. The compressed oil-free air is used for such extremely clean environments where pharmaceutical industry and other industry must be founded.

Total 16 models covering rated current 135A to 350A both diesel engine and gasoline engine driven type line up. There are many types such as two persons simultaneous operation type, three phase AC power source available type, high-frequency power type, and plasma arc cutting type and other types. Also we had developed and marketed ultra low noise silenced type PDW-AS series before our competitors started it.
